Diploma in Yoga Therapy (Accredited)
Our 800+ hour yoga therapy training is designed for qualified yoga teachers ready to immerse themselves in the principles, practices and healing art of yoga therapy.
We have submitted a pre-application for IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) accreditation of our yoga therapy education program with the intention of submitting a full accreditation application.
The programme is also fully accredited by the BCYT (British Council for Yoga Therapy) at 700 hours. On successful completion of the programme you will be eligible to register as a yoga therapist with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Carry out a thorough observation and assessment of your clients to develop a clear direction for therapy.
- Translate yoga’s powerful philosophy and models into practical, effective therapy sessions, uniquely tailored to each client’s presenting problems and abilities.
- Build a strong therapeutic relationship that fosters collaboration and deep healing.
- Harness the therapeutic potential of yoga tools: āsana, prāṇāyāma, breath with movement, sound, touch, bhāvanā and meditation, as well as dietary and lifestyle guidance from āyurveda.
- Work competently with a wide range of clients who experience problems in the mind, energetic and physical body.
