Foundation Courses

TSYP Foundation courses are an opportunity to explore the rich and influential tradition of Professor T Krishnamacharya and his son, TKV Desikachar. These courses will suit students who wish to develop and deepen their personal practice and study of yoga and/or to prepare themselves for teacher training.

Vedic Chanting training

TSYP Vedic Chant Teacher Training Course 2017-19.

Commencing September 2017 in Crawley, West Sussex, with 3 residential modules at Lendrick Lodge, Scotland.
A fantastic and rare opportunity to train as a teacher of Vedic Chanting with Radha Sundararajan, who was chosen by TKV Desikachar to lead the chant department at the KYM and who is a world expert as well as an amazing teacher.

TSYP Teacher training

TSYP teacher training provides a ground-up comprehensive teacher training in the tradition of TKV Desikachar. These courses are 550 contact hours over three years and equip teachers to work with a wide range of class groups or individuals. The course looks in detail at yoga practices and philosophy as well as western and yoga models of the human system. Teachers will be enabled to use a wide range of yoga tools for transformation, whether that be for development, maintenance or healing. The course is one of very few in the country accredited by the British Council for Yoga Therapy and teachers can register with them and the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council on graduation.
